- Bellringer: Today you will listen to an explanation for why some countries drive on the left side of the road and others drive on the right side of the road. The explanation comes from "What Einstein Told His Barber" by Robert L. Wolke. As it turns out, there is a very good historical explanation for this phenomenon. It has a lot to do with swords and horses.
- Ball experiment: We are still reviewing the scientific method. Today we will develop an experiment using a tennis ball and other items. We will use the scientific method to guide us through the project.
- No Homework!
The project will include: a problem statement, a well written hypothesis (cause and effect), experimental plan (Procedure and materials list), neat and organized data table, at least one graph, and a conclusion statement.
